The Forgotten Americans - a compelling portrait about the people who live in U.S. neighborhoods called colonias found along the border with Mexico. There are almost fifteen hundred colonias in the United States, usually lacking the most basic services such as water and electricity. The film tracked the lives of colonia residents for over a year and captured their struggle to survive as they search for their American Dream.
